One Woman's Fight to Make a Difference,
I am DONATING 20% of my personal income from my Beauti Control and from my Foot & Leg Spas, for the months of April-Sept, for Soldiers that are deployed to Iraq from Ft Sill, OK I will use this money in the form of care packages that have some thought put into them, these will be for soldiers that do not have any family, as well as single and married soldiers that may not have the means to receive anything from back home.
My neighbor's husband is leaving in the next few days if not this morning. (they keep changing the days on them) and this is thier first deployment along with quite a few other families in her
husband's unit.
Now these guys are not deploying like the rest of the units have in the past. This is a RAPID DEPLOYMENT, meaning, these poor soldiers just found out that they were leaving less than 90 days ago, so this is a HUGE shock. They will not be in trailers with AC and a few moments away from a store like my husband and his unit were, but only tents for at least a few months, no PX or Shoppette close by to get the things that they need. So this is why I have started this up in hopes
to ease the deployment stress for the Soldiers and their families and mostly for those who have no one.
Can you picture being over there for the first time, or even the second or third time, and not having a soul supporting you and watching everyone else smile and laugh when they open a letter or card or a box and talk about their families and you have nothing to open, nothing to read from a loved one and you just sit quietly to the side or perhaps walk away. Makes me cry, that is why I am doing this, but I need help. I have a few gift sets that are put together for Mother's Day,that is coming up in May, well worth the money, not to mention it is helping soldiers and their families and it will take only 3 days max for them to come in locally, and can be drop shipped if from out of town/state, however I would order asap, for there are no rain checks on these. If you have a mom, sister, wife, girlfriend, I'm sure that you will want her to be pampered and made to feel special.
I can send out an email with details, prices and pictures of the gift sets, there's something for everyone...even MEN ;) and Father's Day is coming up in June!....and yes I can even take out of town and out of state orders if needed.
